My passion is helping people to love learning and to build confidence.
Whatever level you are studying at and whatever blocks to learning you perceive yourself to have, I can help you to overcome them.
My role as a tutor is to identify your strengths and weaknesses and then to design personalised learning to help you to make progress.
Availability: Weekdays, evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I have three decades of experience as a senior teacher in the independent sector teaching English language and literature from ages 11 - 18, Drama GCSE, Theatre Studies A level and BTEC Performing Arts.
In addition, I am an experienced examiner in GCSE English Language and Literature, English and Theatre Studies A level.
Throughout my teaching career I have prepared students for examination at every level, from 11+ and Common Entrance through to A level and university entrance.
Much of my career has been spent working with sixth form students and I am happy to offer Oxbridge interview preparation as well as assistance with UCAS personal statements.
