Information about Yeny

Hello everybody!!! I am an experienced Spanish and English teacher with several years of experience teaching all levels and ages. As a teacher I have always wanted to motivate students to do their best. By taking advantage of their previous knowledge and exploring new, students improve their abilities while they are using a foreign language. In my lessons students realise that they can give their full potential to raise any language challenge and apply it to their lives.

My teaching is characterised by a variety of strategies, activities, and material to engage and interest students based on their needs, interests and expectations. I am aware of the different learning styles and intelligences which helps me to support students in learning a foreign language in a more effective way.

Availability: I am available on evenings weekly and during the weekends.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: Spanish and English teacher with eight years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults.

I have been a Spanish tutor to adults since 2009 achieving that some of my students have travel to South America to practice and enjoy latin American Culture. Others can understand a variety of grammatical sentences, are able to sing in Spanish and talk about daily spoken language.

Teaching one on one Spanish lessons to a number of adults from different backgrounds. Incorporating interesting materials and resources to improve speaking and conversational skills and creating lessons using content-based instruction. (eg teaching Ecology and community welfare using the target language).

Adapting materials and activities according to the needs and expectations of the students.
