I am a fully qualified teacher, with twenty years of experience. I have experience of teaching Maths and English to GCSE level and I am currently teach Maths, IT, Computer Science and Business Studies within a secondary school in the Tendring area. I have provided private tutoring for the past 18 years, specialising in GCSE English and Maths.

Availability: Monday to Sunday from 4.30pm onwards

Experience: I have a wealth of knowledge, teaching the current GCSE and A-level syllabus for my specialist subjects and have previously provided KS2 students with support and guidance in improving their literacy, numeracy or in preparation for entrance exams.

I have an excellent track record of improving student performance in exams. I pride myself in building positive relationships with students so they feel comfortable and want to learn in a fun and exciting way.

My methods vary according to the topic. Generally, I focus on key targets and a good understanding of the topic, I follow the national curriculum and exam style tests. As resources, I consider that the more the better. So I use worksheets, technology, practical work and others. Since practice is the key for all the skills, a good revision means a strong consolidation.
