I am a high school science teacher and a very experienced private tutor.
I specialise in A Level and GCSE Physics.
I also teach chemistry and maths to GCSE.
My students always become highly motivated learners and make fantastic progress.

I am an enthusiastic and supportive tutor with very high expectations of progress and achievement. I break down and explain concepts very effectively, enabling a clear understanding of each topic, and develop exam techniques in order to gain maximum marks. My lessons are very interactive and will always include an agreed topic to study and exam questions to explore. I concentrate very much on developing good relationships with students in order to encourage discussions and to enjoy learning.

I am a family man with 3 children, 2 of whom are at University and 1 working in London as an Investment Banker. I live in Standish, Wigan.

I teach Physics to GCSE and A Level as well as Chemistry and Maths to GCSE level.
I am familiar with the new specification of most exam boards including AQA, OCR and Edexcel.
I am experienced at encouraging the understanding and exam technique needed to achieve the highest exam grades possible. My students have all given me extremely positive feedback and highlight how my enthusiasm, knowledge and ability to break down and explain difficult concepts in Physics have really helped them to quickly gain more confidence and a deeper understanding.
