Nigel

I am a performer, theatre maker and educator working in a variety of professional and community settings. I write and direct for my touring theatre company, 6FootStories, and teach at a range of drama schools and colleges, including East 15 Acting School, University of Northampton and Bodens College of Performing Arts. I am currently studying an MA in Dramaturgy at Birkbeck, University of London. I am passionate about providing opportunities for young people to play, learn and be creative.

Experience: I have worked as a one-to-one tutor in a number of educational settings, from primary to secondary. I was based in a Pupil Referral Unit in Redbridge for six months, and I have a passion for working with young people from less advantaged backgrounds. I deliver one-to-one drama workshops for a range of abilities, and work across London and nationally as a theatre facilitator. I teach drama and acting at BTEC, Foundation degree and BA level.
