I am Media and Film Studies Tutor, mainly assisting the students with preparation to their A Level and GCSE exams. I also teach University Students who study Media and Communication and Film Studies helping with their essay writing.

Having academic and practical media and film experience I am improving students grades at fast pace with very high success rate at their final exams.

I give private tuitions, but often also teach at colleges, this way being able to see how the teaching looks like at schools and what needs to be covered. Each student is treated individually, looking at how to best help them in achieving the highest grades.

Being also a film director and screenplays writer helps me to share with the students practical cinematic and media knowledge, incorporating that into the studies.

Availability: Available weekdays but also during the weekends. Flexible if student needs an extra help.

Experience: Ulla holds Masters Degree in World Cinema and Bachelors in Film&Media, both from Birkbeck University of London. She teaches extensively Media for all levels with vast variety of students from all over the world, often also helping international students who prepare for A Levels and University Degrees.

She is also a film director and a writer. Lately she was nominated for best original scri pt at IARAwards and semi-finals at San Mauro Film Festival. She has written film screenplays for various film production companies and recently wrote and directed a feature film "Hard&Soft" distributed by New Gold Entertainment.
