I am an eager Teacher of Mathematics and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for the subject across KS3, KS4 and KS5. As a teacher, I take great pride in sharing my expertise, knowledge and love of Mathematics with pupils to ultimately support students in reaching their potential. I teach both higher and foundation GCSE with specific experience of teaching the Edexcel course.

I live in the Hammersmith and Fulham borough so would be keen to tutor in the area or online. Other interests of mine include musical theatre, piano and yoga which take up my free time.

Availability: Monday - Friday 5pm - 8pm and Sunday late morning.

Experience: I am a qualified Teacher of Mathematics that has trained with Teach First. Having gained a BSc in Accounting and Finance I am highly experienced in working and manipulating numbers and data.

I teach year 7-11, including foundation and higher tier GCSE. This year I am carrying a top set year 11 class through their exams and focusing on problem solving and exposure to those 7-9 graded questions. Additionally, I have been led interventions within my school to scaffold problem solving and the approach to exam style questions in KS4.

I am experienced in working with a range of attainment levels which has given me the opportunity to both stretch and scaffold for the needs of individual students.

This year I took on the role as homework lead, launching `Sparx Maths` in our school community. This has been an exciting opportunity within my school and has created an excitement among students.

Outside of school, I have experience of teaching Piano on a one-to-one basis. I worked for two years at Ellie Jamieson Music Tuition coaching students to excel in their musical studies and exams. This involved me having a deep understanding of the syllabus and tailoring content to meet the needs of my individual students.
