I was educated in Altrincham and moved to Sheffield to continue my further education.
My career started in sales, but I soon found a love of educating others and moved into training. From there my natural progression led me to teaching. I have taught primary for 17 years across all ages. The vast majority of my time spent with years 2 and 6. I managed to reach the level of assistant head.
I am married and have 2 children, Issy and Fraser who were educated locally.
I am loving retirement as it enables me to spend more time with my children and doing the things I love like gardening, squash, painting and decorating, socialising with friends and of course, teaching!

Experience: I have been a primary school teacher for 17 years, prior to retiring last year. I am experienced in all primary ages but spent most of my teaching time with years 2 and 6. I have really enjoyed my time teaching and now want to continue in a tutoring role to enable me to help and support more pupils.
I possess a degree, PGCE, QTS, and MCCT (Member of the Chartered College of Teaching)
