Hi! I`m Patricia and I`m an incoming FY1 doctor in Manchester with 5 years experience as a tutor, teaching over 500 hours and 30+ students. I also have a first class degree in BSc Medical Sciences with Medical Oncology from UCL! I studied Medicine at the University of Manchester.

Studying is a passion of mine that I would love to share with you. I studied Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A-level and achieved A*A*A respectively in August 2019. For me, school is not about studying to get perfect grades, but it is about finding enjoyment in learning and passion in the subjects you enjoy.

As a student myself, I have developed and am continuing to develop effective methods of learning and revision that is allowing me not only to succeed in my studies, but to make learning more enjoyable and tolerable. I enjoy teaching and have been tutoring since I finished my A-levels. I would class myself as being a friendly, hardworking and determined individual. I take pride in being organised and planning my time well. As a medical student, I would be more than happy to mentor any aspiring medics in their Medicine applications.

Availability: My availability will depend upon my university schedule, but I am flexible when possible - hence, I encourage you to reach out and discuss what works best for you! Online tutoring is preferable due to changing commitments.

Experience: I have been an A-level Biology and Chemistry tutor since February 2020, focusing on my students` current knowledge and building on areas of weakness. I use my own A-level notes alongside the exam board specification to ensure lessons cover everything required, and a little bit extra to push you into the higher grade boundaries. I plan lessons in advance, with opportunities to go through exam questions to consolidate each lesson, but with the flexibility to cover anything you want to focus on. My teaching style focuses on active recall and individualising study techniques for every student, to be able to optimise learning long-term.

I have taught over 400 lessons through TutorHunt and have helped students achieve their desired grades and succeed in their journey to medical school.
