I completed my Primary P.G.C.E. at the Institute of Education, University College London in 2012 with a specialism in mathematics, and have since taught in prep schools across Key Stage 2. I am currently undertaking a Masters degree in Mathematics Education.

I have tutored for over three years, working with children from 8-13 years old, primarily tutoring in English, maths and science. As an experienced Year 5 and 6 teacher, I also comprehensively prepare students for the 11+.

I consider it essential to offer a bespoke service, tailoring my teaching to the needs of the individual student. Alongside this, I work closely with the parents and, where relevant, the child’s teacher, to ensure that my lessons are complementary to the child’s school education. With this in mind, I would be happy to meet a prospective tutee and their family prior to sessions commencing, in order to gauge expectations and to ensure that we would be able to build a positive working relationship.
My current and past tutees have shown significant progress in school examination results and in their confidence in approaching challenging material.

Availability: Weekday evenings from 17.00

Experience: I have tutored for over three years, primarily preparing children from the 11+ and senior school examinations and also working with children lacking in confidence in their school work (particularly maths).
