Hola!

My name is Tania, I am a native Spanish qualified teacher with extensive experience in the field of education including school teaching and private tutoring.

I have a successful proven track record, teaching in both England and Spain at Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Adult education level.

Availability: My tutoring service is focused on teaching Spanish as a foreign language, I offer 15 - 20 tutoring sessions a week, concentrating on a diverse array of topics and ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

I am available in the morning, afternoon and evening. I am very flexible and I am happy to work around my students` schedule and needs. I offer weekly, biweekly and fortnightly lessons.

Minimum lesson time for children 5-12y.o. is 30mins and 60mins for older students. My recommended session duration for adults is 90mins.

Experience: Throughout my 10 years of teaching, I have created a number of structured learning programmes.

Upon meeting a student I then modify and adapt these based on their needs / requirements, to ensure a bespoke and fit for purpose learning experience.


Primary School and Early Years

I have a degree in `Primary School Teaching` from `Jaume I` in Spain, studied from 2006 - 2010. I also hold Qualified Teacher Status.

I`ve got experience working at a Primary School level teaching groups in Key Stage 1, 2 and 3.

Secondary education - GCSE and A-level

I have 4 years experience working as a Teacher of Spanish in a Secondary School teaching Years 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. I am familiar with three exam boards for GCSE, AQA, Edexcel and IGCSE. Previous students have been able to achieve success in terms of improved school grades and excellent GCSE and A Level results.

Extracurricular and Adult Learning

I have over 7 years experience tutoring senior students, having even taught students in their 70s in the past! I have also worked in an Adult Education College in South London teaching groups of 15 students at beginner and advanced level.

As English is my second language, I understand the weaknesses and difficulties faced by a language student. Hence, I know how to successfully utilize and teach language tips and tricks and memory techniques and addition to traditional forms of learning.
