Hola, my name is Tania.
I am a Spanish 28 years old qualified teacher with a deep passion for the field of education.
I have a proven track record, teaching in both England and Spain. This is something I am proud of and I gain great reward from each of my tutees and their progression.
I would describe myself as a professional educator who knows how to engage children in their learning process and reach their highest expectations. My approach to learning is supplemented by a robust bank of educational supporting resources, interactive materials and engaging techniques.
I am enthusiastic, energetic and cheerful, when working with children as I know how to balance being strict and entertaining throughout lesson time.
Availability: My experience as a tutor involves teaching Spanish and English as a foreign language. I typically offer 5 - 10 tutee sessions a week, concentrating on a diverse array of topics ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Throughout my years of teaching, I have created a number of structured learning programmes. Upon meeting a tuttee I then modify and adapt these based on their needs / requirements, to ensure bespoke and fit for purpose learning experience.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Primary School and Early Years
I have a degree in `Primary School Teaching` from `Jaume I` in Spain, studied from 2006 - 2010. I hold the qualified teacher status that allows me to work as a Primary School teacher in England. I`ve got experience working at a Primary School level in Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 as a teacher assistant and tutoring in all the areas of the curriculum. I`m currently working as an Early Years teacher in a private Nursery School in West London.
Extracurricular and Adult Learning
My experience as a tutor involves teaching Spanish and English as a foreign language. Previous students have been able to achieve success in terms of improved school grades, A Level and Diploma results, improved confidence in job applications and general conversational capability. As English is my second language, I understand the weaknesses and difficulties faced by a language student. Hence, I know how to successfully utilise and teach language tips and tricks and memory techniques and addition to traditional forms of learning.

Tania is an amazing tutor
Would not hesitate to recommend Tania for GCSE Spanish. My son was struggling and was his weakest subject but Tania helped to build confidence and he did far better in the exam than he would have otherwise.
I have had several lessons with Tania at a quite advanced level (around A2/AS equivalent). Tania has a wide range of knowledge and resources at various different levels, which meant we were able to cover both advanced topics and basic things which I`d forgotten. She is very patient and willing to help outside of lesson time if need be. Perhaps her best skill is her ability to think/explain troublesome concepts (e.g. grammar) in a way that is clear/logical even to native English speakers, despite Spanish being her first language. Highly recommended!
Miss Tania is a great Spanish tutor and has helped Mina develop in leaps and bounds having never studied Spanish before!
Tania is a superb teacher, fun and engaging for a 7 year old boy learning Spanish. My son looks forward to the weekly lessons!
Very good and professional tutor!
