I have studied French for many years and I have a degree in French and European Studies from Durham University. I spent a year in France, studying and working, and this is where I really improved my French. I have been tutoring French for many years to students of varying ages and levels. I have taught around 14 students over the past 10 years with very successful results. I enjoy teaching and I find tutoring enables me to give tailored support and attention to students, which is often not available at school. I am patient and have an ability to hone into strengths and weaknesses and also increase students` confidence. I have a good success record.


My approach is relaxed, friendly and open. I like to challenge students and also be challenged by them. I concentrate on improving the student`s confidence by giving tailored attention and support. I also like to have fun in my lessons.

Availability: I am available during weekdays and evening.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have previously tutored around 14 different students, mainly aged between 10 and 17 as well as a couple of adult students.
