I am a fully Qualified Secondary Teacher, experienced in tutoring across all Key Stages including A-level Biology. I live in Preston and work in Folkestone and so I can tutor in either of these locations, the surrounding areas or online.
I believe that the tutee should be comfortable with the tutor, that realsitic targets and tasks should be set. Positive encouragement is essential while still working to fine tune ideas and knowledge. Exam and revision technique also need tutoring.

Availability: Evening and some weekends.
Over school holidays.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I am 37 and currently employed at a School in Folkestone and was previously employed at a Grammar School. My specialist subject is Biology , having graduated from Edinburgh University with a degree in Microbiology. I also teach Chemistry and Physics at KS3.
My preference is the AQA syllabus at GCSE and EDexcel Biology A level.
