Limited availability remaining for this academic year 2017-2018. I will endeavour to accomodate your requirements.
I am a science graduate from the university of Nottingham and have worked in both the NHS and pharmaceutical industry. I have been tutoring science since September 2014 and tutor in biology, chemistry and physics up to GCSE level. I also have students in their AS and A level years including students who have remained with me after working with them at GCSE level.
I have worked with students from both the private at state sector across Derbyshire and also have experience of working with students who are disengaged from education and with SEN including ASD and ADHD. I have experience of various exam boards including, AQA (for both GCSE and A Level), OCR 21st century, OCR Gateway, OCR A (A Level) and Edexcel (GCSE and A Level), including their International IGCSE course.
I am an adaptable tutor who is creative, to ensure all students make progress and reach their full potential.
I loved tutoring and education that much that it lead me to do supply/cover work across Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire. This in turn enabled me to secure a place on The University of Nottingham`s Secondary Science PGCE course where I gained Qualified Teacher Status (rated `OUTSTANDING` on my final teaching profile)and passed the academic component with Distinction.
I volunteer at a local charity and as a befriender to those at risk of social isolation. I therefore have a fully enhanced DBS check which I can provide you with so you can check my details online.
If you require Skype/online tuition, group tuition or have any special educational needs that need accommodating, then please contact for further information.
Similarly if you require intensive courses during the summer to prepare your son/daughter for starting their GCSE`s or A Level, don`t hesitate to contact.
I will always endeavour to accommodate any needs you have as a family.

review(s) for Caroline.
Caroline works hard to ensure progress - she quickly made a big difference to my daughter`s confidence and enthusiasm for A` Level Biology. She has a clear, friendly style and knows her subject very well.
I would recommend Miss Caroline. Her knowledge of the GCSE Syllabus and exam requirements are up to date. My son has made good progress and has grown in confidence and is now expected to do well. Miss Caroline adapts her teaching methods and presents content in different ways so that my son was able to improve his knowledge and understanding. I`m very pleased with his progress and he enjoys the lessons.
Caroline is an excellent tutor. She is friendly and well organised with a good knowledge of exams and curriculum. She can provide structured lessons or flex to meet the needs of the students. My daughters confidence has grown and her marks improved as a direct result of Carolines teaching. I recommend Caroline and her teaching style to others

My daughter has had two sessions with Caroline. So far, so good. She (my daughter) is very happy with the arrangement and so are we. Caroline is very pleasant, punctual, efficient and professional, which is exactly what you would want from a tutor.

Caroline has made a huge difference to my daughter. She is very up to date with the current GCSE syllabus. She has put my daughter at ease and encouraged her at each session. Caroline has been very adaptable to what areas need covering. We really appreciate everything she has done for my daughter so far

As a GCSE additional science student, I would most certainly recommend this site and Miss Caroline. The tutoring hours provided are flexible and plenty of learning resources are available. Also, very affordable I have seen a clear increase in my knowledge and confidence.
