I am an enthusiastic, committed and creative teacher, dedicated to seeing and nurturing the full potential in children of all abilities and backgrounds, and developing a supportive and trusting learning environment where children can thrive and grow in confidence in their skills and as a person. I love and see the value in working as part of a team. I have worked to improve the education and also social and emotional well-being of children within my classes, and have taken on various roles to expand by involvement in the school as a whole. I take pride in and see the importance of continual research into pedagogy, new strategies and initiatives and enjoy bringing meaningful, vibrant and stimulating learning experiences to the classroom. I have also sought to deepen my understanding of the curriculum across the schools I have worked in, teaching all year groups from Year 2-6.

Experience: I have been teaching for over ten years. I have worked in London State schools for 6 years ad have just returned from teaching in a British International School in New York for 4 years. Here I taught the British National Curriculum. I have worked in all year groups from 2-6 and have a strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum. I am very experienced in and adept at differentiating lessons and activities for a wide range of abilities.

During my career I have taken on positions of responsibility such as Maths Leader and Arts co-ordinator.
