I am an experienced former Head of Science and Chemistry now work in IT. I enjoy doing one or two hours tutoring a week. I have a proven track record of improving pupils grades by building a solid foundation of knowledge, skills and examination technique. In addition, where necessary, I teach pupils the Psychology and mental stratagies needed in order to suceed. I have a flexible approach depending upon the students needs and an excellent knowledge in all areas of Science. As a Head of Science I taught all 3 Sciences (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) at GCSE and Biology to A level.

I believe in not just teaching the subject, but I also focus on helping pupils become independent learners able to optimise their examination technique and adopt the correct mental approach in order to perform at the highest level.

I provide private tuition now soley for GCSE Chemistry.

I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor, with a long established record of success with pupils of all ability levels.

Qualifications: B.Sc. in Chemistry with Life Sciences.
PGCE Science, with Qualified Teacher Status.

Availability: Weekday evenings: (4:00pm - 6:00pm) and weekends by arrangement
