I favour a multi-sensory and individualised approach to my teaching and am committed to unlocking the potential of each and every child in a supportive, nurturing and engaging way - through the use of personalised learning plans, individual targets and confidence-building skills.

I am a highly adaptable and reflective practitioner and would describe my teaching style as fun, creative and hands-on. I offer active, learning-through-play sessions that follow the interests of a particular child.

As a qualified Primary School Teacher, I share specialisms in: Maths Mastery and English. As an educator, I am a firm believer in delivering excellence within the wider curriculum, ensuring all children receive a high-quality and well-rounded education.

I facilitate 1:1 tutoring sessions that eradicate any previous barriers to learning, seek out how children learn best and give them a sense of ownership and empowerment over their own learning. I am passionate about delivering innovative and engaging sessions that put the learning experience and well-being of the child at its core.

Through my teaching sessions, I aim to ignite an individual’s spark, instil confidence and inspire a life-long love of learning.

Experience: I am a trained primary teacher who specialises in teaching upper key stage 2, I have a strong understanding of the grammar exam content to prepare students fully. Furthermore, I have an excellent reputation for helping students exceed their end of year 6 results which in turn has allowed students to have additional secondary school options.

I have extensive knowledge of both the primary and secondary curriculum.

I work with all learners- of all ages right through from reception and phonics through to year 6/7.

My teaching background has seen me lead a successful department, as well as working with secondary schools and primaries across the south west. I know how to ensure students enjoy learning and make sure sessions are always fun. I would ideally be able to tutor in the Cheltenham and Gloucester area although am willing to travel further if my added time is taken into account.
