I am able to offer online tutoring during this lockdown period. I am a qualified primary school teacher and have 6 years tutoring experience. I firmly believe that children learn best when they feel confident and therefore positive praise is a key strategy in my tutoring approach. I am committed to making learning stimulating and enjoyable for all my students, and helping them to reach their full potential.

Availability: I am available Monday - Friday, daytime and evenings.

`Fun and engaging`
Liz worked with my daughter from mid way through year 4 until she took her sats in year 6, teaching both Maths and English. Her lessons were always fun and engaging and I was impressed with the materials she used and the structure and planning she gave to lessons. Above all my daughter enjoyed them and did well in her sats which is largely down to Liz’s interventions. We are now in the process of arranging for Liz to tutor our youngest daughter online to help fill a gap whilst schools are closed.

‘Warm and professional’
We used Liz to support our son whilst in lower school (year 2). The task was very much to shore up the basic literacy skills and build confidence in his academic abilities. Liz gained our son’s trust and really helped him believe that things were achievable again. Liz’s style is warm and professional providing a safe environment for children to ask those questions they may not feel comfortable asking in class.

‘Reliable, punctual and friendly’
I have three children and Liz tutored all of them for a year whilst at Junior School in Years 6, 6 and 5. As a result, they all approached Maths in High School confidentially and ably. ‘Interesting and fun’
Liz has a very professional and calming manner which my daughter warmed to. Liz really helped with my daughter’s confidence towards her knowledge of maths. Liz found ways of making something that is very often seen as boring, interesting and fun. We only stopped using Liz as my daughter kept on growing and is now doing well in yr 8 at senior school. Would highly recommend Liz, if your thinking of having extra tuition to help your child through the key stages or just to add confidence to get them to perform to the best of their abilities.
