I am a highly qualified and experienced Head of Geography and I have taught a wide range of students with differing abilities. I consider myself to be very personable, approachable and have a good sense of humour.

I have taught across three different exam boards including: Edexcel, WJEC and AQA. I am also an Examiner for AQA GCSE Higher. I teach both GCSE and A-level and have trained and taught Oxbridge Candidates. I currently teach the AQA Exam board with a (A-Level) specialty in Population, Energy, Rivers, Natural Hazards, Development & Globalisation, Changing Places and Global Systems and Governance.

I have an extremely successful history of achievement amongst my students with many going on to study Geography at either A-Level or University. I have many resources available to aid with learning and currently run weekly revision sessions for my students at school.

I adopt a very student-centred approach to teaching and will use a wide range of methods including interactive and visual learning. I also have access to many past papers, mark schemes and exam reports to ensure students understand how to break down and answer questions efficiently and confidently.
