Enthusiastic and Commited Maths Tutor (Primary to GCSE)

Being very passionate about maths, I try to use learners interests to engage learners in the subject and increase their skills.

I have a good knowledge of the curriculum, including functional skills, and being dedicated to helping people achieve their potential.

I have a calm teaching manner and focus on making topics accessible by making them relevant to everyday life whenever possible.

Availability: Available Monday to Thursday and weekends

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I am an experienced Maths Tutor and have been a qualified teacher with a maths specialism for over 6 years with QTLS status.

My experience tutoring has included Primary through to GCSE Maths, and includes teaching children, teenagers and adults.

I also have experience working with a range of learning difficulties/maths anxiety/low self confidence. I have a calm teaching manner and focus on making topics accessible by making them relevant to everyday life whenever possible.

My recent experience has been working with adults to help them achieve a level 2 maths qualification to enable them to progress in their career or gain access onto a university course.

Experience also includes working with children and teenagers who are working towards their SATs and GCSEs.
