Hi there, I am looking to tutor primary school children in Maths and English. I will tutor the students in any area that they may need help in or anything that they want to be ahead of in school.

I am currently a Primary School Teacher and absolutely love my job, giving children the opportunity to develop on their understanding of a subject is my passion. I have previously worked for a tuition company called [contact detail removed] for over 2 years where I use to also tutor students in Maths and English.

The lessons that the students will have will be based on how many hours a week they would like and how many days they would like to be tutored. Depending on whether the student will want to just do one subject or whether they would like to do both I will structure the lesson differently.

I will be a very calm teacher who will use different techniques to help the student understand the topic. I will use half the lesson teaching the student the topic and then I will use the other half of the lesson doing a question and answer session.

Availability: Monday - Friday - After 5:30pm
Saturday and Sunday - anytime from 12pm - 7pm

I have been a swimming teacher for 6 months where I worked with first time swimmers who were usually 2-4 years old. In those 6 months I helped students who were so scared to even come in the water start to swim without armbands.

When I was in year 12 I use to go to a year 9 maths class once a week and helped out as a teaching assistant and helped the children that did not generally understand what the teach was teaching. I helped the students understand the work better and helped them solve the questions that they had to answer.

Finally for 2 years I worked for a tuition company called [contact detail removed] where I tutored students in Maths and English. I sat with students that were struggling to understand their work not only in the tuition session but also at school. After 1 or 2 sessions the students were trying to attempt the questions on their own and were asking for help much less.

As a tutor I am very calm and I am very understanding, I will use different methods to help the child understand the work. I will use a variety of activities to make the lesson more fun so that the student will find it fun to learn topics and it may help it stick in their mind.
