I`m a full time tutor specialising in English and have been a private tutor for just over a year now. I teach a varied age range and home school some students. I gained a 2:i BA in English at Cambridge University, achieving the Agnes Cann Memorial Prize for my dissertation which focused on generic subversion in Eveyln Waugh`s `Brideshead Revisited`.

I am able to teach English Language and Literature up to A-Level, Oxbridge entrance, common entrance, 13+, 11+ and reception. I am also TEFL qualified and teach English as a foreign language.

When I`m not tutoring I`m a freelance writer. I developed an appreciation of my specialist subject whilst at Cambridge, involving myself in student journalism, Footlights and Corpus Playrooms. I hope that in addition to providing key guidance I can also instil my students with an enthusiasm for their own learning.

Availability: I am a full time tutor therefore I am able to work around the availability of my students.

Experience: I have lots of experience with 11+ candidates, 13+ and GCSE. I have successfully supported students into places at Wellington College, St.Nicholas`, JAGs and Alleyns.

I have also homeschooled students in English as a foreign language having gained my TEFL qualification from Royal Holloway University.
