A highly motivated KS4 and KS5 Head of Film & Media, who can teach Film, Media and Photography.

Has had experience of working within the Film and Media industry for six years before transferring into education. Currently Head of Media and Film Studies for a College in Central London, have also held the roles of Co-Head of Year 12, Joint Assistant Head of Sixth Form and Post 16 Progressions Leader.

Also happy to tutor adults or those who embarking on their journey into University or further education. Obtained an MA in Global Film & Television in 2020.

Every student is capable of achieving positive results, it`s my job to find the best way to attain them.

My goal is to leave my students in the best possible position for going into further education or professional work. It`s important not only to achieve positive grades, but to develop a confident, motivated and driven individual.

Experience: Working in both education and the Media/Film industry, I have worked in many different aspects of film and television making, including programmes that have been shown on the BBC Digital Arts Platform, Channel 5 and Eurosport. Some projects have also seen him briefly work in both Italy and France.

I have produced short film which have been screened at both the Krakow Film Festival and the Cannes Court Métrage.

Since moving into education, I have taught in two different schools where I have taught GCSE & A Level Film and Media Studies with Eduqas and Cambridge International. I also have experience teaching Photography for the AQA A Level qaulification. In September 2022, I became the Head of the Media and Film Department in my college, leading a department of five staff and fifty students taking GCSE, A Level and BTEC Film, Media and Creative Media.
