Hi, my name is Elle.
I have been teaching for the last 4 years. I have recently returned from Thailand to the UK where I was working in a CfBt certified International School. My role at that school was the EAL Coordinator. I was in charge of the language department, aswell as teaching EAL students.
Alongside teaching EAL students, I also used to teach Literacy and Numeracy support classes for students who were falling behind in their classroom lessons. This has meant that I now have a broad knowledge of the current Literacy and Numeracy curriculmn taught for KS1 and KS2 in the UK.

I fell into teaching while in Thailand and found that it was a job that a thoroughly enjoyed, I find it very rewarding watching students grow in their educational ability and as a result I would like to continue my career now I have returned to the UK.

Availability: Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends.

Experience: As stated above, in Thailand I worked as the EAL Coordinator at a CfBt International School. My role included teaching and supporting students whose first language is not English. I have taught a variety of students from age 3 - 16, of a variety of levels, the English language.
Along side teaching English as an additional language, I also taught Literacy and Numeracy support classes, aswell as tutoring students for SATs examinations in Maths and Literacy. I also privately tutored low ability learners in Maths and Literacy. I have also had previous experience tutoring for the IELTs exams.
Before I held my current position, I worked at a language school teaching students from the age of 5 - adults the English language.
