Information about Sivapriyaa
Hi, I am Priyaa. I am an experienced Maths and Computer Science tutor with a PhD in Computer Science from Aberystwyth University, UK, and over 10 years of teaching, tutoring, and academic support experience across UK and international education settings.
I specialise in teaching KS3, GCSE, and A-Level Mathematics, as well as Computer Science up to university level, including programming (Python, C#, C++), data structures, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
My lessons are structured, clear, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations using examples, guided practice, and exam-style questions. My goal is to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and improve exam performance.
I offer both online and in-person lessons from my home, depending on student preference.
I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education (PGCTHE) and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), reflecting my strong academic teaching background and commitment to student success. My academic and industry background in Artificial Intelligence further strengthens my ability to support advanced learners in computing and programming.
I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their academic goals through supportive and engaging tuition. If you need guidance to improve your progress in your studies, please do not hesitate to contact me.
