I`ve been tutoring since 2009 and I love what I do. My first degree is English - focus: Creative Writing and Poetry. I am a published author (feel free to Google me!) and this is a big passion of mine. I also specialise in Entrance Exam Prep. I offer a 10% discount to single parents and 5% of my profit goes towards providing subsidised lessons for children in disadvantaged areas. I have taught ages between 4-50+ and like to inspire confidence and grow skills in my learners - having a good sense of humour, passion and humility helps too! I have an experienced and
successful background in working with learners with low self esteem and low confidence, emotional, social and behavioural challenges as well special needs, autism and genetic disorders like Fragile X. I tailor my work to individual needs and am happy to work
out plans with parents.

In my free time I volunteer at my local youthgroup, travel and play guitar.

Experience: 8 years plus tutoring experience from helping learners to read, entrance exams to degree and dissertain level, editing novels and teaching poetry workshops across a wide range of learners of all abilities and ages.
For the past two years as well as with my own tutoring clients I have worked with two learners with special needs as an education consultant in a private school. Experience: working with the parents and school to design and deliver their curriculum, Social Workers, Psychs. Speech and Language Therapists etc. I have also worked in Pupil Referal Units.
