I have recently completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Warwick, and have always loved to teach students of all abilities. I am particularly passionate about reversing the all-too-common aversion to maths and physics.

Besides science, I am a keen musician, cyclist and woodworker.

Availability: I teach maths and all sciences up to GCSE, maths and physics at A-level, and undergraduate physics on a case-by-case basis. I also have experience teaching maths and physics for university entrance exams (Oxford PAT), NVQ engineering, American SAT and GRE tests, job interview maths tests (Kenexa etc.) and preparation for the Certificate in Quantitative Finance.

I am available daily, including weekends, from 10am to 8pm, and happy to travel, although for distances over 5 miles I will add a small fee to cover time and expense.

Experience: I have worked as a private tutor for over 5 years and have hundreds of hours of experience, teaching maths and physics at all levels from primary school to undergraduate.

I also have classroom experience from 3 years teaching undergraduate physics at the University of Warwick, and a one-term placement at a leading comprehensive teaching GCSE and AS/A2 level physics. Last summer I taught maths and physics at Debate Chamber summer school, and helped write some of the lecture notes.
