Hello, my name is Jordan, an Oxford Graduate and professional tutor of 10 years with a wealth of tutoring and academic experience.

Teaching Style:

My approach to tutoring is efficient, succinct but also enjoyable. Dealing with topics such as poetry and Shakespeare can be very frustrating and so I aim to make these works as approachable as possible. As the student gains more confidence I will push them further with clear, target based learning. This ensures that they are never left in limbo where their ability and knowledge do not advance.

Having attained the highest grades at all academic stages, and a decade of one-to-one tutoring experience, I have a wealth of knowledge to share that can help any student achieve their targets.

Services:

The subjects I offer can be found elsewhere on this page. However, I offer two other services:

- 11+ Entrance exams, specialising in English

- Oxbridge entrance exam skills, such as essay writing, interview and test skills.

First lesson:

My first lesson is a free 30 minute `get to know you session`, where I will assess your child`s needs, introduce myself and my teaching style before finally deciding the best direction to take.

Experience: - Extensive academic experience at the highest level.

- 11 years tutoring KS2, KS3, GCSEs, A-levels, Degree and Masters.

- A decade of one-to-one and small class tutoring experience.

- Examiner role for a variety of local students.

- I am extremely familiar with every text and subject on each syllabus, and have taught them for many years at different levels.

- Teaching experience with students who have special educational needs such as Aspergers and Dyslexia.
