I am a Senior Lecturer of Philosophy of Education at Kisii University, Kenya. I hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Science from the University of Hamburg, Germany; a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Zimbabwe; and a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University Kenya.

Experience: I have over ten years proven experience in teaching and tutorship (face-to-face and virtual), research, consultancy, professional development training, leadership, motivational speaking, and writing in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Germany, and the Netherlands. I have experience teaching at secondary school and at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am the author of two books Service-Learning in Higher Education in Africa (2018) and Critical and Creative Education for the New Africa (2013), several journal articles, book chapters, and learning modules. I have been a visiting scholar at the African Studies Centre, Leiden University in Leiden, the Netherlands and at the Centre for Global Challenges, Utrecht University in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
