It’s tough navigating literature with all the greats that are studied. It can feel isolating and exhausting trying to find the right words for exams, essays and dissertations, which is why my years of patient experience working with story and literature will make this a calm and productive process for you.I have been working with the written word and story for over thirty years. I started at the BBC as a drama story editor, and have edited and story lined shows for the BBC in film, television, and radio. I run an editing service working with writers and students of all fiction, and every day I am reminded that working with writers is a real privilege. My background has enabled me to hone my teaching skills because the needs of a literature or creative writing student and a professional writer are very similar: the goal is to improve your written work with an empathetic mentor by your side.

Availability: I am available weekdays and evenings. I work online (remotely) only via zoom or FaceTime.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have worked extensively with writers of all age groups and academic backgrounds in my role as editor, and an academic peer. I would be of particular benefit to GCSE, A Level, BA and MA literature, creative writing students, and professionals who want to improve their writing skills.
