I believe we are all hard-wired to connect to story, especially children. I had the most wonderful English teacher at school, and she is the reason that I went on to have a passion for literature. It is a privilege to pay that on. This love of story as a child continued into adulthood, where it blossomed into a creative career as an editor, writer, and tutor.

My fascination with literature and creative writing led me to the Open University and Middlesex University, to expand my knowledge beyond my work experience, and further explore the world of literature and creative writing. I gained a distinction (1st) at both Universities. This academic journey was so rewarding that it opened an opportunity (recommended by my MA lecturer) to tutor other students.

Availability: I am available weekdays and evenings. I work online (remotely) only via zoom or FaceTime, and from the student`s school.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: The genres that I can tutor are literature, reading and writing skills, critical reading, critical writing, creative writing, debate, essays, screenplays, radio plays, short stories, poetry, and life writing. I can also tutor media and film studies, crossing over genres for students who are interested in the media as a career.
