I am a German native speaker & experienced German tutor for all levels - both online and in person. I studied Journalism and Acting and strongly believe that the best way to learn a new language is through creativity and making a connection to that language and culture - rather learning by-heart long lists of declinations.

I will always encourage you to speak German, be playful with the language, risk making mistakes and we will never approach grammar without its context. We`ll often start talking about a topic, reading a text or watching a clip and go into grammar from there. I love incorporating German culture, books, films, TV and music into my lessons and cover topics that you are interested in.

Availability: As an actor and freelance teacher, my schedule is very flexible and I am happy to tailor lesson length and frequency to your needs.

Experience: I have been tutoring on a 1:1 basis and groups with up to 5 students for 5 years. I have been teaching both German as a foreign language and tutoring German to native speaker students. I have tutored students from the age of 10 up to A levels as well as adult learners. I am currently teaching at German Saturday School Ealing.
