After studying A Level English Literature, Law and Sociology, I pursued my love for literature and the arts at Greenwich University, where I proudly gained a BA First class. I developed a passion and curiousity for Jungian psychology and challenged myself to a Master of Arts at Kings College, and worked on a complex notion on the indviduals goal for a complete self (Individuation), spiritually, psychologically and emotionally. Upon completing my second degree, I embarked on a Post Graduated Certificate in Education at Westminster University alongside Teaching English as a Foreign Language with Cambridge University. I have also worked as a Business Marketing Director for a leading pharmaceutical company. I turned to tutoring six years ago and have recently decided to leave full-time work to tutor for many years to come. Tutoring has proved to be both intellectually stimulating and rewarding on many levels. I have taken to tutoring considerably, as there is real value in facilitating high levels of progression. For the foreseeable future I plan to tutor full time and complete a Phd in Jungian Psychology.

Experience: I have been teaching for four years and tutoring for six. In my first two years I successfully taught GCSE English and A Level Language and Literature at a college. In my second year the GCSE grades for English rose around 23%.
I then moved onto a secondary school from September 2014. Since employment my teaching practice and observations were continuously graded Outstanding. I have constantly provided a model of outstanding teaching practice, I have constantly expected and secured the highest standards of behaviour and work/attainment from students. As a respected teacher, I have experience supporting NQTs and Teach First trainees with their planning, marking and subject specific knowledge. I have recently achieved a 100% 3 level progress for my GCSE English students (2016), with a 52% 4 level progress, the highest, ever, in my previous department.

I have always maintained a high standard of teaching, learning, achievement and attainment. Most of all, I plan and prepare my lessons meticulously, with passion and creativity. My expectations towards all my students have always been clear and a challenge and I have always been valued and respected, by all the pupils I have had the joy of teaching. Working on GCSE, A Level, also 11+ and 13 + English with students, on a one to one level, has always been exciting and rewarding. I have always succeeded in motivating my students to achieve beyond what they could imagine.

It is my goal to combine and develop my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic and intelligent teacher in order to make a positive contribution by successfully educating children.
