Hi!

My name is Leena and I am a fourth year Medical student. Before attending university, I studied at a Grammar school where I obtained 12 A*s at GCSE as well as 4 As at A-level (Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Geography). I am a friendly and bubbly character with a passion for helping others achieve their full potential.

I have a real passion for tutoring and, being young myself, understand the need to make lessons as enjoyable as they are educational. My main approach to tutoring is to provide a tailored learning experience: everyone learns in different ways and it is important to figure this out for each individual from the get go. I believe that I know tips that I can pass on to ensure the success of others and this is something that i enjoy and find extremely rewarding. I am organised and flexible and aware of the hard work it takes to succeed and I am willing to do whatever it takes to ensure your or your child`s future success by equipping them with skills for life.

As I am a Medical student, child safeguarding is something that I have been trained in and I am familiar with. I obtained a DBS check when I first started uni and this lasts throughout my medical career. Availability: I am flexible and will always try to make time when it suits you, however I am booked up most morning so I have better availability in the afternoons or weekends currently.

Experience: I have tutored for nearly 7 years. I tutored Maths and English at a Kumon centre for about 4 years and have done private tuition since in a wide range of subjects from Science to Maths to English. I also tutor a lot of 11+ and 13+, as well as help with UCAS application, UKCAT and BMAT prep for medical school, and interview prep for uni. I have past and current students with dyslexia and ADHD as well as those working with EF coaches.
