An enthusiastic third-year student at the University of Bath, currently working towards my BSc (Hons) in Psychology. I have a particular passion for my subject, and have recently undergone a research apprenticeship within my department, wherein I assisted a doctoral student with a research project regarding the association between mental health and climate change.

As such, I would be thrilled to pass along to budding psychology students both the book-taught knowledge I have acquired over years of study, and the practical skills I have gained in undergoing research.

Prior to my university studies, I achieved three A*s respectively in A-Level Psychology, Biology and English Language and Literature. Alongside this, I attained grade 9s in the sciences at GCSE, and grade 9s in English Language and Literature.

Having undergone my A-Levels in 2023, and my GCSEs in 2021, I am well-equipped to guide students through the modern A-Level and GCSE systems, and thoroughly understand the challenges and stressors they present!

I teach using resources and techniques that I myself used and trusted throughout my time in education, with the aim of finding a revision style that works for the tutee. In addition, in preparing the student for sitting exams, lessons focus not only on content-based revision and learning, but on proper exam technique, drawing on my lived experience of sitting these exams.

Experience: Taking on roles throughout my education journey, such that of an academic mentor, have allowed me to work closely with students between the ages of 8 and 16, providing assistance in areas from reading comprehension and grammar, to past paper practice and essay-based skills.
