I am an experienced academic tutor who develops key skills and competencies in her students.

I have 7 years of experience in providing essential support to students . I specialise in areas such as SATS, GCSE, A level, and Eleven plus. I understand the challenges faced by each learner, my lessons are highly engaging and I encourage progress.

My previous role as a home-school tutor gives me experience in preparing children for their IGCSES. In my recent work within a school; my students have shown significant progress in their formal school assessments.

Availability: I am available all days of the week and flexible with timings.

Experience: I have vast experience working with children and understand their needs. Coming from a background in teaching I am highly experienced in supporting children in their education and very aware of the knowledge and skills the curriculum focuses on.

I have experience in helping students from a range of abilities and needs. My student`s needs vary from those who require help to excel in specific areas to those who need help building basic knowledge and skills. I have experience preparing students for The Eleven plus exams as well as offering support to students with SATS, GCSE, and A LEVEL preparation. I have an awareness and expertise in providing support for students studying IGCSE exams also.

I identify and work on my student`s weaknesses as well as enhancing their strengths. I carry out an initial assessment and reassess my student`s performance monthly. In most instances, my tuition offers a real exam focus - all assessments are conducted under exam conditions for an accurate representation of their progress.



Outside the classroom

My students are encouraged to arrive prepared with questions and items to discuss in their lessons. Students are also encouraged to ask about any queries they may have between lessons. I set weekly homework and research tasks for my students, in line with the goals set for them that month.

When assigning me to help your child, I keep you updated with your child`s progress and provide you with specific feedback on how to assist your child at home best.
