Information about Laura
I am a patient tutor who is also a headteacher with 23 years experience. I believe that each pupil learns in a different style and tailors my approach to maximize learning. I love teaching and in my career have taught every year group up to GCSE English Maths AND Science!
I specialise in common entrance, SATS and 11 plus tuition.
Before I was a teacher I was a classical singer and my first degree is in music.
Availability: I am available at any time of the day, and at weekends, and can be flexible around individual pupils and families needs.

Experience: I have been a teacher for 23 years with 10 of those being in senior leadership and as a Headteacher. During that period I have been a tutor and prior to that I was Head of Music at a local prep school where I specialised in teaching singing. I have tutored for 14 years including 8 years on online platforms.

Laura is kind, patient and knowledgeable. My daughter was not keen on the idea of tutoring initially but with Laura she enjoys it and practises her maths without being asked in between sessions. I am tutoring for the ISEB pretest.
