I am an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with over 8 years experience in teaching secondary Science across all 3 disciplines and exam marking for AQA. I am passionate about providing a high-quality education for the students I teach and inspire them to reach their full potential.

I aim to teach students the key concepts in Science, build on prior knowledge and develop their existing skills. During my lessons, I will look to build confidence, promote a love for Science and maximise potential through the methods I use to teach. I aim to be thorough and engaging, whilst tailoring teaching methods to each individual student, depending on their skills and learning preferences, so that when faced with a variety of exam questions, my students are equipped with the knowledge required.

I offer a wide range of tutoring services, face to face or online, these include:
- Personalised tutoring programme
Personalised programmes are based on 10+ sessions. During these, we will assess prior knowledge, address key concepts and understanding, focus on exam question techniques and assess progress.
- Exam question techniques
Within these sessions, our main focus will be exam questions and past papers. We will look at command words, different level responses, examiner reports and mark schemes. I have worked for AQA as an examiner and have experience with other exam boards.
- Revision
Revision is not a one size fits all method. During these sessions we will look at what approach suits you and make appropriate resources to help with revision. Also, within the revision sessions, we can construct a revision timetable for you and your subjects.
- One off sessions
During the one off sessions we will look at areas that you have highlighted. This is a great way to build confidence in particular areas and learn new techniques when finding areas of Science difficult.
