"I first contacted Dave in Oct `14 as I was looking for an `A Level` Business Studies teacher for my son. My son was entering his second year of studies at his local college and after a disappointing first year I felt I had to take matters into my own hand. The college my son was studying at was failing him on many levels. My son only achieved a Grade E after his first year of studies yet we both knew he was capable of much more. I contacted Dave because after reading many disappointing profiles I felt Dave`s profile was professional, honest, personal and likeable plus he was local, even though I was prepared to travel for the right tutor. I took my son along for our first meeting with Dave and instantly realised that we had both chosen well. He was friendly, open, honest, relaxed and had a good sense of humour. His educational qualifications were second to none. I was under no pressure from Dave to use his services but deep down within minutes of meeting him I knew and more importantly my son knew Dave was the best person to bring out the best in my son. I wasn`t to be disappointed because 10 months later my son achieved a Grade B. He was 2 marks from a Grade A and has re-submittted his papers for re-marking. Both my son and Dave have worked extremely well during their time together. Dave has kept me updated re my son`s progress every step of the way and I am more than grateful for all the time and effort he has put in to bring out the best in my son re his studies. I have no hesitation in recommending Dave to anybody looking for a Business Studies tutor. However I do have one regret and that is that I wish I had found Dave 12 months earlier.
