Retired Languages Teacher Secures Contract With International Companies

Paul Gardiner, a retired Spanish/French teacher, has decided to venture into the private sector. He has been helping two international companies improve their standings in Spain and South America by ensuring that their buyers have a good knowledge of Spanish.

The employees concerned are making good progress and have already, since January 2013, had the opportunity to use their new-found skills in communicating with their Spanish and South American counterparts both by email and in the spoken language when they have visited the countries concerned.

It is good to know that there are businesses which recognise that, in spite of the global dominance of English, there are huge advantages in communicating with colleagues in their native language.
