The building is very old, and its decorations are very colourful. It is placed in a northern mill town in England. You can hear the lapping of a creek if you listen carefully in the vicinity; where I can also see a lone figure on marshes doing something very daring. While I was taking a stroll across the small little shrubbery on the opposite side of the palace I caught a glimpse of this old odd man, he was feeding the ducks with scraps of bread, and when he saw a cute one he jumped into the water, trying to catch it, but his attempt failed completely. He came out from the creek entirely drenched. After I had been looking at this strange and unusual scene, I started to wonder if I could step into his house for a sneaky look. A few days after this occurrence, I felt a longing for snooping in his house. His home was a very large estate house with high walls and towers; it was also surrounded by a moat, probably built in medieval times. It was a crumbling castle stripped of all furnishings almost in ruins. At the entrance, a long hallway led to many of its rooms. The rooms are spread over three floors, but only the first was accessible. First of all a large fireplace attracted my attention which was in the bottom of the great noble hall. This room was painted with images of saints and religious scenes, and there was also a home furnishings store adjoining to it. At this point, I had a quick look in the store room where I could see a cupboard plenty of books, and also I looked at its down narrow shelves which held a collection of Vinyl Record dated 1960-70. "The White Album" made by the Beatles was one of those albums. Ever since, I found it I've been engaged with it at some level. It is not my favourite. But it has always compelled my attention. Since I discovered this album in a way totally unexpected, it was clear to me that it was an analogy in the meanderings of bloke`s weird mind. In the same way as the one suggested by the surrealistic journey of the Beatles` album which implies: experimental parodies, political unrest and rebellion, rock and roll, intimate confession and even trivial nonsense. His personality was to become more barely confessional, as suits someone who was dealing with such turbulent emotions. He gave me a faint idea of his character; it's not accidental that half-insane people might have "The White Album". In Fact, The world it depicts is strange almost claustrophobic. Yet it has not conventional approach, and it has suddenly changes in tone from childish feeling to devilish paranoia. In Fact, those of us who live normal lives and dream normal dreams can acknowledge that "The White Album" has a hold as if we are under a hypnotic process. In the middle of the room close to a fireplace, I noticed a long square table on which there was an invaluable collection of Venetian glasses, but the chairs were oddly taken away. Fortunately, in the corner of the room there was an old piano with a stool where I could find a place to sit. Consequently, for awhile, I was employed in reading a few pages of one book, "I capture of the Castle by Dodie Smith" that I had to take from the cupboard. When I was flipping through the pages of the book, the first thing that struck me was that an astonishing passage has been underlined with a blue highlighter: " When I read a book, I put in all the imagination I can, so that it is almost like writing the book as well as reading it- or rather, it is like living it. It makes reading so much more exciting, but I don`t suppose many people try to do it." From it I could guess that the householder had a sensible, modern view and knowledge of books. Moreover, he likely had a good up bringing and good morals. But, the fact that an old man had leapt into a pond like that totally impressed me in a negative way.
