WHY A CHILD SHOULD LEARN CHINESE?

In the early years of a child`s development, the brain is learning to recognize which sounds are for language. By a very early age, the brain has already learned to focus in on the sounds for their mother language, and has learned to ignore other sounds for language recognition. By exposing your child to other languages early on, this helps increase the range of sounds used for language. The more exposure they have to other languages they better they will be equipped to learn and master other languages in the future.

Children`s brains have tremendous plasticity. This means that they are incredibly flexible in adapting to new requirements such as new grammar and sound perception. Infants perceive sound differently than adults. Just ask any adult who has tried to learn a new language. Mastering the sounds, in both listening and speaking is much more difficult as you get older.

It really appeals to kids, they find the different characters fun and grasp the different tones well, it`s like singing for them.
