Revision Breaks
How long? How many?
Date : 12/06/2026
I often get asked "How long should you revise before having a break?"
The real question is how much of it is actually going in?!!
Flash cards and wall charts are great - but it`s even better for the student to stop reading, turn around to an imaginary student and try to TEACH them what they have just read.
Result?
They will get stuck at the bit that didn`t go in!!!
In one-to-one private tuition, this happens all the time - teach, question, teach, question.....but for a student revising alone, this method will make sure that the information is getting into their brain and staying there.
You need to know what you know - and discover what you don`t!
This is the way to do that.
