My Teaching Journey

I believe that education is an essential tool for preparing students to effectively live, work and trade in the global economy. I am passionate and committed about meeting the needs of students and helping them to grow as every child has the potential to succeed. I get great satisfaction in seeing students’ progress by reflecting on their journey from where they first started to where they are now. I understand that the progress for one child will look very different to that of another, and therefore, I identify individual needs with the aim of helping them to achieve their personal targets. I form positive relationships with all students as I understand that this is fundamental in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all leading to success. I believe that a successful school is reflected on the passionate staff who have high attainment expectations for every child. I am eager to display my passion for Business Studies to strive students to reach their potential

I have 10 years’ experience of working in the educational sector. I have previously been involved with the delivery of student recruitment and outreach projects with young people and in recent years worked with 3 different schools for my PGCE and ECT. This experience has enabled me to develop my subject knowledge in line with the curriculum and enhance my skill-set.

I am currently teaching Business, Computing and Economics to GCSE, KS3 A-Level students in the classroom as well as tutoring online. I developed a passion for Business Studies during University and Teacher Training as it offers me the chance to help young people to understand the dynamic environment in which business operates and develop the skills they will need for everyday life.
