Para empezar, soy alto y moreno y me considero una persona agradable y simpática.

Last Saturday I went to the cinema to see a new sci-fi adventure movie with my friends, it was cool! Afterwards, we went to a Spanish restaurant to eat paella and churros, yummy! At night, I went to my friends house to have a party. We had a good time! I hope we do it again next weekend!

Las principales ventajas de las redes sociales son que son entretenidas y puedo chatear y contactar con mis amigos fácilmente. Sin embargo, las desventajas son que a veces, uno puede depender de ellas e incluso llegar a la obsesión, ¡qué pena!

The main advantages of social networks are that they are entertaining and I can chat and contact my friends easily. However, the disadvantages are that sometimes, one can depend on them and even become obsessed, what a pity!

Me suelen gustar las películas de ciencia ficción, de terror y aventuras. Son guays, muy entretenidas , la trama es muy interesante y siempre suele haber intriga al final. ¡Molan mucho!

I tend to like science fiction, horror and adventure movies. They are cool, very entertaining, the plot is very interesting and there is always an intrigue at the end. They are very cool!

The last time I went to the cinema, I saw a horror movie, it was very cool! My friend was very scared while eating popcorn but I wasn`t and most of the audience was screaming. I had a great time watching it and I hope we will see another movie in the cinema soon!

Normalmente, suelo jugar al hockey con mi familia los fines de semana y con mis amigos en el instituto.Me encanta el deporte y a mi familia también.

Normally, I usually play hockey with my family on the weekends and with my friends in high school. I love the sport and so does my family.

Last weekend I went to play sports in the park with my friends and we played soccer. It was very good weather, sun and heat. We had to drink a lot of water as it was exhausting! but unfortunately, one of my friends had an accident, he sprained his ankle, what a pity! I hope the weather is nice over the weekend!

Este año en navidad, iremos a visitar a mis abuelos en Londres y nos compartiremos los regalos de navidad. Después, tendremos una gran comida tradicional inglesa con pavo asado, patatas y el postre típico de navidad, muy dulce y hecho con pasas. Después de comer, jugaremos a juegos de mesa como el monopoli y después veremos en la tele una peli de navidad toda la familia, ¡lo pasaremos en grande!

This year at Christmas, we will visit my grandparents in London and share Christmas presents. Afterwards, we will have a great traditional English meal with roast turkey, potatoes and the typical Christmas dessert, very sweet and made with raisins. After eating, we will play board games like monopoly and then the whole family will watch a Christmas movie on TV, we will have a great time!

My town is very quiet because I live in the countryside with my family. Above all, there are many sports facilities and activities for young people, such as a sports center with a heated pool where I usually play sports with my friends, swim and play hockey. My town in the past was much quieter since there were only farms and animals. Currently, ten thousand inhabitants live and there is a little more movement and activities to do. I love my town and I wouldn`t change it!

Actualmente, no trabajo como voluntario pero el año pasado si trabajé. Fui voluntario en una tienda de ropa que se llama Oxfam para el DofE. Fue bastante divertido y ¡aprendí muchísimo!

Currently, I do not work as a volunteer but last year I did. I volunteered at a clothing store called Oxfam for DofE. It was quite fun and I learned a lot!

¿Cómo deberíamos ayudar a los sin-techo?

How should we help homeless people?

En mi opinión, para ayudar a los sin-techo, deberíamos tener más empatía y ofrecerles más refugio y comida, ¡sobre todo en invierno!

In my opinion, to help the homeless, we should have more empathy and offer them more shelter and food, especially in winter!

Healthy living

Normalmente, suelo comer comida saludable, mucha fruta y verdura,A veces, los fines de semana suelo comer comida rápida como hamburguesa con patatas fritas. No es lo ideal para llevar una dieta sana pero ¡está muy sabrosa! Por otro lado, ayer, bebí y comí pollo con verduras y coca-cola. !Estuvo delicioso!

Normally, I usually eat healthy food, a lot of fruit and vegetables, sometimes on weekends I eat fast food like hamburger and fries. It is not ideal for a healthy diet but it is very tasty! On the other hand, yesterday, I drank and ate chicken with vegetables and coke. !It was delicious!

En mi opinión, para llevar una vida sana, sin duda, se debe dormir durante nueve horas al día y no comer comida basura ya que es nociva para la salud.

In my opinion, to lead a healthy life, without a doubt, you should sleep for nine hours a day and not eat junk food as it is harmful to your health.

What is your opinion about smoking? Do you smoke?

Pienso que el tabaco es sin duda ,muy nocivo para el cuerpo y puede provocar enfermedades futuras. Es malísimo ,si quieres ser un atleta en el futuro ya que tendrás problemas para respirar y no energía.

I think that tobacco is undoubtedly very harmful to the body and can cause future diseases. It sucks if you want to be an athlete in the future as you will have trouble breathing and no energy

En mi opinión ,el alcohol es sin duda, nocivo para llevar una vida sana, y me da miedo ya que es bastante peligroso y puede provocar adicción.

In my opinion, alcohol is definitely harmful to lead a healthy life, and it scares me as it is quite dangerous and can cause addiction.

En mi pueblo existen problemas medioambientales como la contaminacion atmosférica, el humo de los coches, fábricas, y la basura, residuos vertidos en la calle. ¡Es un problema gravísimo!

In my town there are environmental problems such as air pollution, smoke from cars, factories, and garbage, waste dumped on the street. It is a very serious problem!

Normalmente en casa, solemos reciclar la basura y ahorrar energia apagando las luces para salvar el planeta.

Normally at home, we tend to recycle garbage and save energy by turning off the lights to save the planet

Normalmente, de vacaciones suelo ir a España con mi familia en verano, despúes de terminar el instituto. Solemos alojarnos en un hotel de cinco estrellas, tomar el sol en la playa de arena dorada o piscina del hotel, nadar en el mar de agua cristalina ,navegar en un yate y pasear por el paseo marítimo al atardecer. Finalmente, solemos cenar paella en un restaurante tradicional español ¡Nos lo pasamos bomba!

Normally, on vacation I usually go to Spain with my family in the summer, after I finish high school. We usually stay in a five-star hotel, sunbathe on the golden sand beach or hotel pool, swim in the crystal-clear sea, sail on a yacht, and stroll along the promenade at sunset. Finally, we usually have paella for dinner in a traditional Spanish restaurant. We had a blast! .

Por el dia, solíamos visitar museos de historia, arte y por la noche, cenar comida deliciosa en el hotel. Desafortunadamente, no había suficientes toallas y el baño estaba atascado, ¡qué pena!

Alemania es un país fascinante, con mucha historia, grandes colinas verdes, con mucha vegetación. ¡Me lo pasé guay y aprendí un montón!

Last year, I went to Germany with my institute to study about the history of the country. We stayed in a bed and breakfast with good views of a river and mountains. In the day, we used to visit museums of history, art and in the evening, have delicious food at the hotel. Unfortunately there weren`t enough towels and the toilet was clogged, what a pity!

Germany is a fascinating country, with a lot of history, big green hills, with a lot of vegetation. I had a great time and learned a lot!

My institute is public and there are many students and sports facilities such as a heated swimming pool and a soccer field, where I play soccer at lunchtime with my friends.

Las reglas de mi instituto son un poco estrictas y severas como llegar puntual, no correr por los pasillos, no comer chicle durante las clases y por supuesto, llevar uniforme escolar, ¡qué aburrido!

The rules of my institute are a bit strict and severe like arriving on time, not running in the corridors, not chewing gum during classes and of course, wearing a school uniform, how boring!

Mi escuela primaria anterior, sin duda, era más pequeña que mi instituto actúal y las asignaturas eran menos difíciles que en mi instituto, ¡echo de menos mi escuela!

My previous primary school was definitely smaller than my current high school and the subjects were less difficult than my high school, I miss my school!

Normalmente, en un dia típico de instituto, suelo tener muchas asignituras aburridas. Por ejemplo, los lunes, tengo seis clases, y odio las matématicas y teatro. Sin embargo, me gusta mucho la historía porque creo que es muy interesante y ¡me encanta mi profesor de historia!, ¡es genial!

Normally, on a typical day at school, I usually have a lot of boring subjects. For example, on Mondays, I have six classes, and I hate math and drama. However, I really like history because I think it`s very interesting and I love my history teacher! He`s great!

.Si fuero director de insti, sin duda, permitiría que los estudiantes lleven su propia ropa, en vez de un uniforme escolar, ya que ,de este modo sería más cómodo para los estudiantes y más colorido.

If I was a principal, I would definitely allow students to wear their own clothes, instead of a school uniform, as it would be more comfortable for the students and more colorful.

To help at home, I usually do many activities to earn extra pocket money so I can buy treats like going to a fast food restaurant on weekends. Normally, I usually wash the car and sometimes walk the dog. It`s cool!

Actualmente, no trabajo a tiempo parcial, solo estudio. Estudiar es también un trabajo parcial ya que hay que dedicar mucho tiempo a hacer deberes y preparar los exámenes. (Si tuviera un trabajo parcial, me gustaría trabajar como camarero en un retaurante de mi barrio para pagarme los futuros estudios universitarios). ¡Sería guay!

Currently, I don`t work part time, I just study. Studying is also a part-time job since you have to spend a lot of time doing homework and preparing for exams. (If I had a part-time job, I would like to work as a waiter in a restaurant in my neighborhood to pay for future college). It would be cool!

Mi madre es profesora y mi padre es ingeniero, tiene su propia empresa y trabaja como autónomo. Disfrutan con su trabajo y reciben un buen salario.

My mother is a teacher and my father is an engineer, he has his own company and works as a freelancer. They enjoy his work and receive a good salary.
