Electrolysis
Date : 31/01/2023
A solution of Lithium Fluoride is separated using electrolysis. During this process the lithium ions are attracted to the cathode where they gain electrons to form lithium atoms. This is a reduction reaction. The fluorine ions are attracted to the anode, where they lose electrons to form fluorine atoms. This is an oxidation reaction. OIL RIG
