Striving Is The Key To Success

Be diligent to remain undistracted

1 Corinthians 11:2-3

We tend to allow distractions to lead us astray from the devotion to Christ. There are so many believers who were once passionate of the things of Christ, but never had the momentum to sustain it or be consistent. Moreover some will forever spend time struggling to develop a consistent spiritual mature walk in Christ. We should avoid being one of those people.

Example: king Uzziah served Judah for 52 years. Most of that time he sought the Lord and prospered, but as his fame spread and his kingdom flourished, he became proud. But when he became strong, his heart was filled with pride that he acted corruptly, and he was unfaithful to the Lord. 2 chronicles 26:16

In his last years God stuck him with leprosy, and he died cut off from his people.

As we see in this passage, pride can be the root cause of a downfall from grace, therefore let s give the lord our undivided attention to avoid these costly mistakes to steal the glory of the Lord away from under our feet.
