Easiest Way To Learn An Instrument!

The easiest way to learn an instrument is ... consistency!

Ten minutes every day is better than an hour at the weekend, you just need to have a goal for those ten minutes.

For example:

" I want to be able to play these two bars of music".

Monday - 10 minutes - Make sure I can hum the two bars and know how it is meant to go.

Tuesday - 10 minutes - Make sure I know the notes of the music and how they are played on the Saxophone.

Wednesday - 10 minutes - Practice the two bars slowly.

Thursday - 10 minutes - Practice the two bars a little quicker.

Friday - 10 minutes - Record myself to make sure it sounds good.

Doing this is much better than getting frustrated. If you don`t get the goal at the end of the 10 minutes, try again tomorrow.
