GL Verbal Reasoning Question Types

There are 24 different types of questions. What your child will encounter in the 11+ test will depend on the area in which you are sitting the examination. Some will use all question types and others will use just a selection. Occasionally a new type of question will suddenly appear and other types will go out of use. It is important, therefore, that the material being used to help revise for the tests is both current and comprehensive in covering all 23 different questions types. Purchasing books published after 2018 will invariably miss the most recent type of question that has been introduced - anagrams. A recent trawl of the big publishing companies publications highlights the fact that none of them covers that type of question!

I have not included Bond publications in this list for two reasons:

1. I find they are the least up to date

2. Their publications tend to do a `catch all` for all types of verbal reasoning tests (GL, CEM and INdependent Schools)
