Mathematics has always been important to the human race. From the caves in which people were to calculate how long and how powerful should one throw a spear to hit a target, to the industrial world in which key to all production is maths the subject was and always will be relevant to the genetics of mankind. With the faster than ever evolving technology, however, importance of maths in The New World should be scrutinized in a broader aspect.

People nowadays are able to have a living and earn money purely from producing metas on the net and sharing them with people. Jobs such as "data analyst, market researcher, algorithm designer, social media expert" are now on the rise and in order to be the top of the industry, understanding the math is a must. People can of course can have one of these job titles without having an intricate math knowledge. In order to understand the internet, and be one of the best in your job, however, you must be willing to put your time and effort into learning the details in this new world.

Ultimately, in the world of connections and interactions, being experts of the algorithms and the systems depend on one`s knowledge of mathematics. In the race to the control of internet, one can be tremendously advantaged if she/he has a holistic grasp of mathematical concepts. Thus, it is better of to invest the time and effort to this precious subject while you are still in the competition.
